Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Project Mog (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By using Project Mog you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may sign in using email and password or a supported third-party provider.

"User Content" means anything you submit, including reviews, ratings, votes, initiatives, shortlists, notes, and images. You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant Project Mog a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to post it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or infringing.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Upload content that is sexually explicit, or that depicts or targets minors.
• Post spam, manipulate votes or rankings, or operate multiple accounts to distort community signals.
• Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or disrupt the service.
• Provide dangerous, misleading, or unqualified medical instructions.

Project Mog aggregates community opinions and information about appearance-related practices. This information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for you. Nothing on the service constitutes medical, dermatological, nutritional, or professional advice. Procedures and substances discussed may carry serious health risks. You assume all risk for any protocol you choose to pursue and should seek advice from a licensed professional first.

We may review, remove, or restrict any User Content, and suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion, particularly where content violates these Terms. Rankings, badges, and other community features are provided as-is and may change.

The service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Project Mog and protected by applicable laws. Except for your User Content, you may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the service without our permission.

The service relies on third-party providers (such as Supabase) and may link to external sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Project Mog and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service or from any protocol, product, or procedure referenced on it.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Project Mog from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your User Content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Certain provisions, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, survive termination.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
